Ferndown Solicitors is the sole practice of local solicitor, Katharine Pelzer (Kate). Kate Pelzer is a qualified solicitor and has over ten years experience practising in this field. She has represented clients in all aspects of private practice and has acted as professional executor and deputy for clients over her time in practice.

Having worked for traditional high street practices she understands the value add provided by small firms like ours in terms of their accessibility and personal interaction with clients over those large corporate firms who now dominate the legal landscape.

Here at Ferndown Solicitors we firmly believe that greater access and affordability should not equate to any compromise in the professional service or duty of care to be expected by the client. We always meet with clients in person and build long lasting professional relationships with those we assist.

By keeping overheads down and using up to date technology and resources Ferndown Solicitors strive to provide an approachable face to face service at competitive prices. Since our inception in 2017 the firm has grown and moved to its current location on the high street and has added to our qualified personal.

Graeme Brookes-Butt joined the firm in 2018 as a Trainee and qualified in 2020 as a Probate Practitioner under the CLC. Graeme specialises in Will drafting and probate administration.

In January 2026 the firm welcomed Peter Beesley as Consultant to the team. Peter is a well respected Certified Legal Executive with a long-standing career in the provision of Private Client Services having worked locally in both high street and corporate firms in both Redhill and Crawley.

Our fee earners are all assisted by Joanne Kemp an experienced private practice paralegal with over 30 years experience in this field having worked for local firms.
